Ich habe einen Etsy-Shop eröffnet!
Die Karten, die ich in meinem Shop anbiete, sind Upcycling. Sie bestehen aus Papier, das sonst im Altpapier gelandet wäre – ausgediente Zielscheiben aus dem Sportschießen.
Wenn ich eine dieser Scheiben in der Hand halte, sehe ich kein „Schrottpapier“, sondern festen, schönen Zeichenkarton. Ich schneide daraus Kacheln im Zentangle® und anderen Formaten, auf denen sich die Muster wunderbar zeichnen lassen. Von der Farbe her ähneln sie den Zentangle® Renaissance Kacheln. Jede Kachel ist dabei ein kleines Unikat: Sie tragen noch Spuren ihres früheren Lebens auf der Rückseite: Eine Zahl, eine Linie, einen Ring der Zielscheibe. Aber natürlich keine Einschuss – Löcher, die sortiere ich vorher aus.
Da ich die Karten selbst herstelle und das Papier vor der Entsorgung rette kann ich die Kacheln zu einem guten Preis anbieten.
Darüber hinaus biete ich auch Stifte aus europäischer Produktion an, die sich sehr gut für dieses Papier eignen. Sie sind also nicht um die halbe Welt geflogen, bevor ich sie verschicken kann.

I’ve opened an Etsy shop!
The cards I offer in my shop are upcycled. They are made from paper that would otherwise have ended up in the recycling bin – retired targets from sports shooting.
When I hold one of these targets in my hands, I don’t see „scrap paper“, I see sturdy, beautiful drawing card stock. From it, I cut tiles in Zentangle® and other formats, on which patterns draw wonderfully. In terms of colour, they are similar to Zentangle® Renaissance tiles. Each tile is a little one-of-a-kind piece, they still bear the traces of their former life on the back: a number, a line, a ring of the target. But of course no bullet holes – I sort those out beforehand.
Since I make the cards myself and rescue the paper before it is discarded, I can offer the tiles at a good price.
In addition, I also offer pens from European production that work very well on this paper. So they haven’t flown halfway around the world before I can ship them to you.
